The Goode 9700 is for the second year in a row the fastest ski at the Ski Tests. When you combine that speed with fantastic carry out and turning characteristics you have a shockingly high performance slalom ski. The hallmark of Goode skis is the lack of skier effort required to quickly get from one side of the course to the other and the 9700 certainly exemplifies this. Less technical skiers may find the 9700 somewhat unstable and unpredictable from the apex of the turn to the finish. For skiers that do not shift their weight very much in the turn the 9700 is hard to beat. (Note: The 9700 has been discontinued.)

"Occasionally finishes with more angle then I need." Stephanie Stange

"Goode 9700 is my new favorite." Ward McLain

"Its almost too fast!"  Kim McLain

"Is faster then 9800 but does not slow down as well." Mark Schneewind
