Wide and Stable Skis: You really cannot go wrong with any of the skis in this group. All three skis that we reviewed are excellent for learning to get out of the water and for wandering the lake. These skis are designed to be stable and easy to ski on at slower speeds.

Radar P6: The P6 does it all. On this ski beginner skiers can make deep water starts, turn and cross the wakes with confidence. The ski has a good balance of stability and performance. Its extra width means that skiers can cruise around the lake without being exhausted.

"The P6 is a great beginner ski." BG

HO Rival (66.5", 68.5"): The Rival is a perfect ski for a beginner. The Rival is the easiest ski in the group for deep water starts. Once up on the Rival, skiers find that it turns with ease and is just a fun ride.

"If I did not ski buoys I would ski on one of these." JTH
"This ski is a blast." BNH

Connelly Outlaw: For skiing at 28 MPH and below, the Connelly Outlaw is a blast. Beginner skiers find this ski easy to get up on and more advanced skiers enjoy effortless cutting around the lake. For basic stability and wake crossing the Outlaw out ranks the other two skis by a whisker.

"This is what a wide ski is supposed to be.  It is a lot of fun and it performs." TR
