Intermediate
Shape Skis:
The models in
this group may not be fire-breathing, buoy-conquering, pure-bred,
top-of-the-line skis, but they are sure a lot of fun. With
dimensions that fall between the Wide skis and the Performance skis,
these skis are easy and stable to ride, yet still provide enough
performance to put a grin on anyone's face. |

"This ski is comfortable everywhere. My Favorite of the Group" TA HO Triumph (65", 67", 69" and 71"): The Triumph is a blend of high end performance and intermediate stability. Not only is this ski an easy choice for learning to get out of the water, but it is also a top performer. This ski requires a little more technique than the other skis in the group but it offers a lot of performance in return.
"This is the ski I
would pick if I was teaching someone to run the course." BNH HO Siren (63", 65"): The Siren is a lady's version of the Triumph.
"I would recommend it
for a beginner." JL HO Comp Freeride (65" Venture, 67" Burner, 69" Charger and 71" Magnum): The Comp Freeride is very user friendly and fun to ride. This ski turns faster and harder then the other skis in the group. For a less experienced skier the Comp Freeride will throw up buckets of spray with ease.
"Good aggressive
turns & good wake crossings. This ski is on a
rail." MM O'Brien Synchro (63.0", 66.0", 69.0"): The Synchro does everything. It is appropriate for first time skiers and is also a perfect ski for learning the slalom course. The range of this ski's appeal can not be understated. Jump the wakes, rip a big turn or work on the slalom course; this is the ski for all those things. The Synchro was clearly the team's favorite ski of the test weekend.
"I Love this ski." JL
