Past Ski Tests
Denny Kidder has created more championship winning skis then anyone in the sport and the D3 Nomad RCX is clearly his best yet. The hallmark of a modern ski by Denny Kidder is stability and user friendliness. The RCX achieves this by being fast without ever feeling unstable and by creating angle at the ball without ever being unpredictable.

The RCX’s stability from the second wake to the ball gives the skier a striking feeling of confidence. Test skiers describe this ski as being a solid platform underfoot. With ample front foot pressure the RCX initiates the turn in a smooth but rapid progression and then finishes with a tight arc. The skis smooth aggression at the end of the turn makes it easy for the skier to maintain position and forge a path straight across the lake.

A smooth, unhurried and weight forward style will work best with the RCX but this ski is quite forgiving and will accommodate a wide variety of skiing styles and skiing levels.

The D3 Nomad RCX is fast!
Todd McBride

Don’t let the stable feel fool you into doubting its high-end capabilities. The RCX will reward those with great technique without punishing those of us who make mistakes here and there.
Stephanie Stange

As user friendly as the RC is, the ski has no ceiling. It has the ability to take you as far as you are capable of going.
Keith Albritton

Very comfortable and stable right out of the box. I felt balanced on the ski without the need to shift weight forward or back, it just felt well centered.
Ed Obermeier

It is like an Italian sports car with fast yet smooth ride! Lots of speed just waiting for you to press it to your limits!
Chuck Dickey

The Nomad RCX is a very smooth comfortable ski. The ski is easy to jump on and ride.
