Past Ski Tests
The Radar Senate C is not a super light weight, elite slalom ski nor is it a bland vanilla recreational slalom. The Senate C is a 35 off capable, easy to ride ski without the cost and frills of a high end shortline ski. The Senate AC is a serious slalom ski for someone who is just starting to work their way down the rope.

This ski is a wider version of the Radar MPD with minor tweaks to the flex, rocker and core material. Compared to the MPD the Senate AC does not turn as fast or generate as much speed and width. Instead it delivers unparalleled stability, smoothness and forgiveness. This ski bridges the gap between the typical recreational ski and the super high end skis.

Ridden aggressively by an experienced shortline skier the Senate C delivers near elite slalom capabilities. Ridden by a less skilled skier the Senate C pardons any number of bad habits. This ski is not a cure for bad technique but it will ease the pain.

The Senate will give you 90% of the performance of its top-of-the-line brother for half the price, perfect for the up-and-coming skier who is beginning to put it together but isn’t yet ready to take advantage of a full blown high performance stick.
Ed Obermeier

I can’t say enough about this ski. The Senate C has a wider tail section that helped me when I got out of position. I felt like it had a wide platform to stand on and a large margin of error. It has a lot of the same characteristics of the MPD but you can get away with more mistakes.
Keith Albritton

The Radar Senate C certainly provides excellent skiing for a ski half the price of the high end skis. The Senate has nice acceleration, stable wake crossing and holds very well in the turn.  This ski will allow those without perfect body position to get into shorter line lengths
